Festival #7 (I can count two separate years, right?)
Not at all like last year - this crazy weather we had at the beginning of April.
April 7th 2007 - decided to take my roommates, Aline and Cris and Chet and Katie to DC to see the beautiful blossoming of the trees only to find ourselves freezing and the cherry blossoms dead! Uh, it was so cold that we were bundled up in layers, winter hats, and gloves. Needless to say, we didn't stay down by the Tidal Basin, but headed inland. We were going to stay for the fireworks, but because it was cold, they were canceled (plus we said forget about it!). Instead we ended up at Katie and Chet's for dinner and wine.
