Move somewhere

I did it. I moved to the wonderful state of Virginia where everyone is nice except when they are driving on the road. Plus there are very many nationalities which makes it fun, but I am not used to not having people undertand me. And people here don't understand the hand of Michigan - its crazy - I tryi to point out where I am from and people just stare at me like I am crazy. But I did it. I quit my job at Horizsons, packed up my stuff, and Mike and I drove out here adn moved me in. I finally got my bed today (I put it together myselfand am so proud). Now I am slowly figuring out where everything is. Perhaps tomorrow I will venture out and just spotcheck some things - like how to get to the mall. That is essential you know. I am making lists of places I would like to see or go too, so hopefully that will accomplish more goals. I work 50 hours a week so plenty of time on the weekends to explore. My apartment is in a nice neighborhood and my roommate has been super. NOw that I have internet hooked up (long story on that), I am slowly catching up on my correspondence. Be on the lookout for adventures. Mike and I had fun driving out here and driving around here - we got lost almost every single day. I can't believe I am an East Coast Girl - right outside of DC.
